Hi, I’m Ma. Lourdes “Marou” Madaje. I’m an Email Marketing Specialist with over 3 years of experience building campaigns, performing QA, and tracking performance using tools like Knak, Marketo, Braze, and Optimove. I also design hero banners in Canva and Figma to support campaigns.

Before marketing, I worked as an Operations Supervisor in the spa industry, where I developed leadership and organizational skills. Outside of work, I love cooking and baking for my family—skills like patience and attention to detail that I also bring to my campaigns. I’m excited to continue learning and growing, especially in automation and email strategy.

I started my career as an Operations Supervisor in the spa industry (2018–Jan 2022), handling customer service, scheduling, staff management, training, and performance feedback. Seeking growth in a field that matched my interests, I transitioned into email marketing, balancing work and life as a mom while gaining hands-on experience.

My first email marketing role was at Highspot (Mar–Sep 2022), supporting content resource programs across the US, UK, and Australia. I built emails in Knak, set up campaigns in Marketo, ensured QA, and synced programs with Salesforce.

At Varsity Tutors (Oct 2022–Mar 2025), I focused on retention campaigns, managing newsletters, one-off emails, QA, auditing, and post-send analysis. I worked with Braze and Optimove, applied personalization with Liquid, conducted A/B testing, and used Litmus for QA.

With this experience, I confidently manage campaigns from setup to analysis and am excited to continue growing in automation and email strategy.
