Description
Responsible for creating and upkeep of retail displays by following current trends to make products aesthetically pleasing and consumer-relevant.
Responsibilities
Develop and put into practice a creative visual merchandising plan, such as making visually appealing displays that draw customers in and make them more interested in what we have to offer.
· Create, rework, and present design concepts in collaboration with assistant merchandisers that are in line with the company's brand, image, target market, and culture.
· Produce window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays
· Do lifestyle, demographic, and design trends research so that visual displays in promotion to the launch of new products can be changed to reflect festive or seasonal themes.
· Monitor costs and work within budget
· Liaise with suppliers and source elements
· Oversee the production and brief staff on arranging displays
· Identify key messages and set a clear image of the end result
· Performs other related tasks as instructed by immediate head
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s/ College Degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications or in similar field.
· At least 2 years proven work experience as a Visual Merchandiser or Visual Manager
· Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio
· Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization
· Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office, Corel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketchup
· Creative and innovative thinker
· Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results
