Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging user interface designs.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather feedback and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
- Create user-centric designs that prioritize simplicity, clarity, and ease of use while maintaining consistency across the platform.
- Spearhead design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet high standards of quality.
- Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Able to establish design guidelines and refactor UI with front-end developers based on the guidelines.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently, while adhering to design standards and best practices.
- Leverage experience working with startups to bring innovative and agile design solutions to the table.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design and business intelligence.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects in the field of business intelligence or data visualization.
- At least 2 years experience as a UI/UX Designer.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Good understanding of data visualization applications.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying insights to inform design decisions.
- Experience in overseeing start-up projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
