Responsibilities
I. JOB IDENTIFICATION : Interior Designer JOB LEVEL: JL2
II. BASIC FUNCTIONS : Assist the Design Principals and Senior Designers in developing and implementing the interior design aspect of a project from conceptualization to construction, especially in the aspect of documentation and detailing.
III. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to design spaces that are aesthetic, functional, and safe.
- Assist the Principal Architects and Senior Interior Designers in supplementing Interior Design requirements by sourcing materials, gathering and transmitting quotations, and coordinating with Suppliers.
- Assist the Principal Architect and/or Senior Interior Designers in the aspect of documentation.
- Coordinate with Senior Interior Designers in keeping the library organized and updated. Liaise with suppliers in making sure that Asuncion-Berenguer Inc is kept abreast with the latest available furnishings, finishes and fabrics.
- Prepare presentation tools such as material boards, rendered layouts and perspectives.
- Coordinate the scheduling of plotting, blue printing, and consolidation/binding of drawing packages for bidding. Produce CAD drawings, layouts, design details, FF&A package, renderings, and color boards.
- Produce spreadsheets for the estimation and monitoring of material requirements and costs.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design.
- Licensed Interior Designer (Open to under-board with working experience)
- At least 2 years of working experience in the field of Interior Design.
- Required Skills: Revit and/or AutoCAD, Sketchup, V-Ray, and Photoshop.
