Responsibilities
I. JOB IDENTIFICATION : Architect JOB LEVEL: JL2
II. BASIC FUNCTIONS : Produce drawings, documents and illustrations through the use of CAD software and other digital means. Coordinate with the client, contractor, and suppliers.
III. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Principal Architects, Project Managers, and Sr. Designers in developing plans and layouts for Schematic Design Drawings.
- Produce presentation drawings in various formats as maybe required.
- Conduct site visits and surveys as required.
- Report project activities directly to the Senior Architects or Designers.
- Inform Project Managers and/or Senior Architects or Designers should there be any foreseen delays in the schedule due to lack of design information and manpower allotment necessary for the completion of drawings.
- Coordinate the scheduling of plotting, blueprinting, and consolidating/binding of working drawing packages for bidding, and funding (petty cash) required to be able to complete the same.
- Be self-motivated to have a clear understanding of the overall design intent in order to be able to interpret the design more easily and accurately into working drawings.
- Coordinate all given drawing information and specifications for the proper implementation of the project.
- Ensure completeness of all drawing requirements as shown/required on the agreed drawing list, including other sheets not included but deemed standards of Asuncion-Berenguer Inc. (ABI) drawing packages.
- Ensure completeness of information on all plans, elevations, and other pertinent details. Diligently study and look through the design concept and specifications of the projects prior to the commencement of the drawings.
- Ensure accuracy of sizes, measurements, and other information relating to dimensions.
- Ensure properly labeled (all title blocks and boxes filled-in with the required information) drawing sheets.
- Develop design details from sketch drawing into working drawings and details.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture.
- Licensed Architect (Open to under-board with working experience).
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
- Required Skills: Revit and/or AutoCAD, Sketchup, V-Ray, and Photoshop.
